With cabinetry by the renowned organ builder the Compton Organ Co. and the new S2 and K15/40 drivers fitted alongside the CN157 dispersive horn. the unit is immediately recognised as amongst the finest ever produced.

Vitavox speakers are fitted to Ocean Liner Isle De France.

Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.

Vitavox provides the 51 driver sound system installed in the Circlorama 360 degree cinema in Piccadilly Circus.

First ceramic magnet driver, the DU121, introduced. This began the move to ceramic motors across the entire Vitavox cone driver range.

Now sporting a subtely revised cosmetic and with a new name to boot, CN191 is launched to great acclaim in Japan.

Vitavox separates into Vitavox Hi-Fi and Vitavox Sound.
Vitavox Hi-Fi becomes a division of Octave Audio Woodworking Ltd. and
moves to new premises in Bristol. It marks the first time in their long history that all aspects of manufacture of both drive units and cabinets are under the same roof.

First all wood dispersive horn, RW300, is manufactured
